Analytical Tracking Cookies to allow us to improve your experience

Our tracking cookies collect information anonymously about how you browse and use our website, what pages you visit, how you entered the site and where you left it. This data is anonymous and not specific to you. Tracking your visit in such a way helps us to make improvements to the web experience we offer by identifying pages where more visitors may be exiting the website, or where visitors may be struggling to find necessary information. If your IP is set to visible, it will show which country you are visiting from. You may have an option in your web browser such as “do not track” or similar if you do not wish to be tracked. You are, of course, more than welcome to do this then you are not visible to even Google Analytics. See Managing Your Cookies below for more information.

Cookies that YouTube or other embedded media use

We may use embedded media on our website, for example: YouTube videos. These are embedded media but may use external cookies from these companies. Some of these cookies, whilst classed as “analytical”, may also be as “advertisement” cookies. The cookies used may be telling the system which YouTube player to use for your device – ie. the old interface or the new interface. Another cookie may register a “count” to the plays of the video back on YouTube.

If we have the option to turn off or minimise use of cookies for our embedded media, without doubt, we will. We strive to use as little cookies as possible in our user experience, but some options available to us, like embedding YouTube videos, may be unavoidable if we wish to use such useful features on our site.
